LAI YI (ZOE) CLARKE, Viola soloist

Zoe Clarke is 13 years old and has been playing the violin since she was 4. She studies with her grandfather, Tak Ng Lai and more recently, her mother Joyce Lai. Lai YI has completed her Grade 10 Royal Conservatory of Music exam with first class honours. In addition to being a member of the CSYO violin section, Zoe also plays in the York Chamber Ensemble and performs regularly with her brother and parents in their family string quartet. Zoe is a grade 7 student at Glenview Senior Public School where she is in the French Immersion program.
